An unforgettable stay at Samara

An unforgettable stay at Samara

We got to enjoy a superb stay at Samara Private Game Reserve … and we can’t wait to show you some of the pics that we took!

Star gazing snack pack

Dinner by candlelight and starlight

Only cold water!

We love these colourful key rings!

The comfy Karoo Suite rooms.

Indoors or outdoors … our accommodation was simply stunning!

Lazy Saturday afternoon at Samara Private Game Reserve.

Such a clever shower!

Taking a private shower was not possible!

Ring the bell so farm workers know when to come in for lunch.

Love doing Karoo road trips in the air-conditioned cruiser with built in fridge and many bottles of sparkling water. Don’t think we would have been as enthusiastic in a wagon!

In 2003, Sibella was the first cheetah to be reintroduced into the area. This is her granddaughter Chilli with her first litter of four, seven-week-old cubs. We got fairly close on foot.

How’s the view from up there?

So many unique creatures to see!

Little five … We got right in his face and he hissed quite angrily.

Wanted pic of birds … they didn’t cooperate.

One night in a tree house. One night in camp. Either way, the view was amazing!
