Absolutely Fabb warm haloumi salad

As the amazing team behind the brilliant new Fabb Café & Gelato, as well as 4th Avenue Roasters, The Fat Zebra, and Ferguson’s 5th Floor, Ro and Ian Ziervogel understand great food! They let us in on a little secret and shared the recipe for their famous warm haloumi salad. Try it at home and let us know what you think!


4 slices Haloumi Cheese

1 Cup 250ml Mini Rossa tomatoes cut in halves

1 Sliced Red Onion

4 Tablespoons Olive Oil



Spring Onion

Salad Leaves



Gently fry the onions together with the mini rosa tomatoes for about 2 minutes. Add in your fresh chopped herbs and cook for another 2 minutes. Fry the haloumi for approximately 2 minutes on either side.

Place the salad leaves onto your plate, add the grilled haloumi and drizzle with your tomatoes relish

Garnish with micro leaves & Woolworths balsamic glaze.
