The Pantry Market at Keyes is THE place to be this Saturday
Fast becoming the coolest place to spend ones Saturday morning’s – we are currently loving The Pantry Market – which is located at Rosebank’s art and design district, Keyes Art Mile.
The market launched in March and has quickly become a firm favourite with Joburg’s foodies. Taking place on the last Saturday morning of every month, the eco-friendly and plastic-free event specialises in small-batch, artisanal food products for you to take home and stock your pantry with!
For this Saturday 30th June, think hearty winter market fare – warming soups, healing herbs, immune-boosting spices and a feast of comfort foods. The Pantry Market at Keyes is geared up to celebrate the restorative power of food with its winter edition markets.
Visitors will now be able to enjoy the winter sun while sipping, snacking, sampling, shopping and enjoying the resident DJ’s feel-good tunes. Top Jozi chefs will be creating their signature soups for you to enjoy at home and there is loads more on offer too.
We cannot wait to get our hands on the feast of comfort foods available to take home, including breads, cheeses, charcuterie, free-range lamb, macaroons, chocolate and pies.
There are also a great talk that we be on at 10h30 – Kate Wittstock, who is the owner of Restraw reusable straws, and ahead of the #PlasticFreeJuly campaign, will discuss how to reduce your use of single-use plastics.
