Bailey Schneider talks about romance, relationships and her hot boyfriend!

alt How did you meet? B – We met at a friend’s birthday party purely by chance. Richard wasn’t actually supposed to be there but I’m glad he was. I do remember noticing him immediately. We got chatting but Richard and his friend had to leave early. We didn’t exchange numbers, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found an email from him on Monday. I liked the fact that he’d gone to some effort to get my contact details. R – We met at a friend’s birthday party, I went with a friend who knew the birthday girl. I have to admit, I didn’t know who Bailey was when I met her but she certainly made an impression on me. Describe your partner ... B – I’ve met a lot of people in my life but I’ve never met anyone like Richard. He’s so unique and he’s incredibly supportive of me and everything I do. Richard is hilarious and I never stop laughing. R – Bailey, unlike me, is an extrovert. She’s outgoing, has lots of friends, is creative and arty, loyal, speaks with sincerity and has a soft heart. I’ve discovered that she’s very different from me and I’m learning new things all the time about her, about me and about us. As they say, opposites attract and we complement and balance each other very well. What do you love about your partner? B – I love that he makes me laugh, that he gives me butterflies and that he’s the most supportive man I’ve ever met. He’s thoughtful and considerate. I love it that I can be my clumsy, sometimes nerdy, funny self around him and the fact that he brings out the very best in me. R – Well where do I start ... she’s beautiful, I love her laugh and she’s smart and caring. She has the best intentions. I love it that we get on so well. We may be opposites in terms of some personality traits but we’re also very similar in the way we think and what we want from life. What makes your relationship work? B – We laugh all the time. We have incredible chemistry and passion. Even though we’re very different in our career paths and in the fact that I’m an extrovert and he’s an introvert, it actually works really well because we learn a lot from each other. While we may be different in some things, we are also two peas in a pod in a lot of ways. We share a love of gadgets and technology, good food, travelling and having fun in everything we do – if it’s not fun, then what’s the point? R – We get on like best friends, we’re both very easygoing and we have lots of chemistry and passion. Who’s the more romantic of the two of you? B – Well I’m a hopeless romantic, but I think Richard is quite a romantic at heart too. He’s taken me to some incredibly romantic places, from restaurants to spas to a recent trip to Mauritius. R – Bailey! How often do you go out together, just the two of you? B – Quite often actually ... I love the fact that we still have old-fashioned dates where he fetches me from home, takes me out, then drops me off at my door. It’s rather sexy actually. R – We don’t live together, so we go out a lot to see each other, two or three times a week and we spend weekends together. Bailey also has a lot of functions to go to, which is something different for me so if it’s not an event then it’s a dinner or movie or a night in. How do you feel about Valentine’s Day? B – I have to admit that because I’m such a romantic, any excuse to do something special is divine. I do believe that you don’t just need one day to make your significant other feel special and I hate the fact that a dinner or a bunch of flowers costs triple the price on the 14th. R – You always feel as if there’s pressure to do something special on this day! You can’t get bookings at restaurants and when you do, you get ripped off. Describe the perfect romantic date… B – I think the most romantic date is going for a candle-lit dinner, opening a bottle of wine and talking and laughing until closing time. There’s something about good food, a good bottle of wine and excellent, intelligent, sexy company. R – Dinner, maybe at Vilamoura, and a movie. What’s a swoon-worthy gift? B – As clichéd as this seems it’s the most thoughtful gifts that count … they mean more to me than anything. Maybe some form of gadget or jewellery. R – I’m a geek so anything electronic or any gadget.
